We’ll go to London and observe some famous sights which people know all over the world. As we come across many names of London’s interesting places, I want you to look at the blackboard and read the names after me. ^ Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Trafalgar square, Buckingham Palace, the Natural History museum, the Globe theatre. Dialogue 2. - Have you ever been to the Tower of London? - No, not yet. -Oh I’ve got a lot of impressions. It’s worth visiting. Really? I want to visit it then. - Let’s arrange the day and the time. - Well, I have some time tomorrow. When is the Tower open to visitors? - Daily from 9 till 5. Let’s meet at 12 a.m. - Ok, bye then - See you tomorrow. Dialogue 3. - Have you ever been to London? - Yes, of course. It’s the best city I’ve ever been to. - What places of interest are worth visiting there? - All of them. But I liked Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. - What were you impressed by? - London’s parks and gardens. They are full of trees, grass, flowers and water. ^ T. Marvelous children. Well, children we’ve come to the last point of our excursion. And this is Westminster Palace, where English Parliament works. We’ll go inside the Parliament and learn more about it’s work. (дети выполняют упр.21, на стр.55,57) ^ В качестве рефлексии детям можно предложить короткие тексты о достопримечательностях Лондона, о которых говорили на уроке. Учитель, читает их, ребята слушают и отгадывают.
