Учитель: Now read the text on page 116 one by one/ 3.3 Послетекстовый этап. Учитель: Now let’s check up your understanding of the text we’ve just read. I give you three minutes for doing this test. What do think about the meaning of this idioms? Let me provide you a small situation for each picture and then you’ll tell me its meaning. (^ Учитель читает ситуации-дефиниции к каждой из картинок со страницы 117б учащиеся догадываются о значении приведенных к картинкам идиом по контексту. Учитель: Now, look at exercise 3 on pate 118. These teenagers are speaking about their dating experience. What dating customs do they mean? Use our idioms. Nastya, please, read the first speech. Учащиеся читают высказывания, пытаясь определить, к какой из идиом подходит ситуация. Учитель: Why do you think, that it’s the situation on the idiom « to go steady»? What made you think so? Read, please. ^ Учитель: Look at exercise 2 on page 119. Here we have two passages about dating etiquette. Now I give five minutes for filling the gaps with an appropriate verb-form. Don’t forget the fact, that the first passage about the past situation and the second one is connected with present. Write your answers in your exercise-books. Приложение №2 Double date: (Картинка №1) I and my friend Ann have boy-friends. We both like to go with them somewhere. For example, on weekends we are fond of going to the cinema, theater, cafes. Sometimes we date our boy-friends at the same time and go walking together. Blind date:(Картинка №2) Pete is very shy person. Recently he made friends with one girl by means of writing letters. Finally they decided to meet. So they dated to meet in a café, but it was very difficult because they didn’t know each other’s appearance. To go steady:(Картинка №3) Kate is 21. She has a boy-friend-Dan. Dan is her first boy-friend. But Kate haven’t dated someone else. To go Dutch: (Картинка №4) Kate and Dan like to go somewhere together. But nowadays dating is very expensive. So they often share their expenses.
