Ход праздника: 1 этап. Предварительное знакомство с информацией о Рождестве на одном из уроков английского языка. Дети заранее начинают готовиться к Рождеству: всем своим родственникам и друзьям они посылают рождественские открытки с пожеланиями весёлого Рождества и счастливого Нового года. 2 этап. Приготовление к проведению праздника. Оформление кабинета. Compere: Happy New Year, dear children and grown-ups! All together: Happy New Year! Compere: I’m glad to see you. I hope you’ll enjoy our English party. Meet our guests! They are New Year and Ice Princess. 3 этап. Под мелодию “Jingle Bells” появляется New Year ,Ice Princess New Year: I’m the little New Year, hoo-ha! Here I come jumping over the snow, Shaking my bells with a merry din- So open your doors and let me in! Ice Princess: It’s very cold with snow and ice But we’re happy, winter is nice Look at the snowman with his funny round head. He’s got two black eyes and his nose is red It’s very cold with snow and ice But we’re happy, winter is nice New Year: But each of you a present may win- So open your doors and let us in! Compere: Well, you have to elect your captain. Who is your captain? Sasha is and Ruslan is. Captains! Come here, please. Choose one of the envelope and to know the name of your team. Take out! Open! It is dangerous. It is a___________(snake) New Year: Pupils and teachers write on me with the chalk. I can’t write, I can’t talk. What is it? (A blackboard) Ice Princess: It is a black and white horse. It lives in Africa. It eats grass. It is a______( zebra) . Compere: It is very small. It has got a long tail. It is grey. It likes cheese. It is a __________(mouse) New Year: It is very small. It can swim and jump. It is green. It is a ______________(frog) Ice Princess: This animal is very dangerous. It lives in the river in Africa. It has got big teeth, a long tail and short legs. It is green. It is a __________(crocodile) New Year: It is very big. It is strong. It has got four legs and long nose. It is a___________________(elephant) Compere: I see you are very good at guessing riddles. Dear Ice Princess and New Year, you can join our teams. Compere: When windows are frosty And icy in places, I like to write letters, And draw funny faces, Or flowers or houses Or may be a cat- I really wish windows Were always like that! Compere: We are waiting for Santa Claus Lets him to hurry up and make an invitation. I need two painters. Read the sentences and coluor the pictures Well, while they are painting we continue our competition. Will two pupils from each team who like to draw and to write come up to me? Now the “painters” stay here and the “writers” go out. Draw things and animals, which I name. That’ll do. Come in, “writers”! Write the names of these animals and things. Do it as quickly as you can. Для участия в этом конкурсе приглашаются по два ученика от каждой команды. У доски закрепляют лист ватмана, расчерченный на 10 клеток, остаются художники. В то время как они выполняют задание, двое учащихся выходят из комнаты. Ведущий быстро называет по-английски и считает до трёх. Задача «художника» - нарисовать названные предметы. Двое учащихся, войдя в комнату, должны подписать нарисованные предметы по-английски. Больше очков получает команда, первая справившаяся с заданием, не допустив при этом ошибок. В конкурсе принимают участие по два ученика от каждой команды. Один телеграфист, получив записку с текстом телеграммы, предаёт по буквам её содержание второму, записывающему буквы на доске. Содержание телеграммы прочитывает команда. Появляется Дед Мороз. Santa Claus: Happy New Year, dear friends! I see you are having a competition. But do you like to sing songs? Учащимся предлагается собрать половинки снежинок вместе, что бы получилось слово. На работу отводится 2 мин. Работает вся команда. Santa Claus: I have got for you another interesting game. Match the words. It will be a …" Игру можно проводить как с карточками, так и без них. В первом случае учитель помещает на доску карточку, а дети подбирают соответствующую пару. Например:
Compere: Now it is a competition for our captains. You are to build “ice-bridges” for your captains if you want to get them back. But be careful- if you make any grammar mistakes your bridge will crack and your captain will be out of the game. Ребятам предлагается построить мосты на полу из грамматических предложений. Для этого ведущему следует иметь слова, из которых можно было построить предложения. Example:
Compere: I have got the last riddle. You have to put down the guessed word in the gaps. It is two minutes to do it. 4 этап Заключительная часть Compere: Unfortunately our party is over. So it’s time to go and let’s count scores. Every team is brilliant today. Santa Claus: And everyone must have a gift about our party. (вручает подарки) Compere: New things to learn! Ice Princess: New friends to meet! New Year: New things to see! Santa Claus: New songs to sing! Compere: New books to read! Ice Princess: New things to hear!
